Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake

 Thanks to Influenster and the Spring Fever VoxBox, my family was able to try TastyKakes Kandy Bar Kake. We were lucky enough to try the S'mores flavor made with real Hershey's chocolate. Needless to say, I didn't get to try it as it was claimed by my 14 year old and he fell in love instantly!

Global Green USA Green School Makeover Competition Presented by Pureology

I have been a member of Influenster for over a year and I have never been happier with a company.  Anyone who knows about Influenster knows that they provide free products for members to try and review.  I have been lucky enough to receive several products from Influenster and they are always doing things to keep me interested.  Now, they are doing something totally new and different...and I am loving it.  They are teaming up with Pureology in a contest to create Green School!!  Check out the link below to enter in the "Global Green USA Green School Makeover Competition Presented by Pureology".  Pureology believes that every child deserves to go to a school that is toxin free and leaves a minimal carbon footprint.  Enter your child's school in this fantastic program.  We can all learn from it and do our part in making our children's education a little bit more green.  Also, as an Influenster, you could be eligible for an additional prize. 

Recently I have become more green and to be honest it started with my hair.  I have been reading about the harmful sulfates in most shampoos and I was trying to find a shampoo that is sulfate free.  I tried Pureology and I fell in love.  That small change started me thinking of other changes I could make in my home and in the life of my loved ones.  I have noticed such a difference in my friends and families lives now that we have started a green lifstyle and I encourage everyone to do the same.  Next, we need to teach our children to be more green so that this earth can have a long healthy life.  If we start while they are young, it will become an automatic thing to take care of the environment.  I teach Pre-K and we have been teaching them to conserve water, electricity and resources.  We are also teaching them to recycle and they are really into it!!

"The Taste: Tuesday at 8|7c on ABC"

It has been a long time since I got instantly hooked on a new television show but I can say that it has officially happened with The Taste on ABC. 

I love cooking shows and competition shows and The Taste is like a combination of Chopped and Survivor.  The contestants are broken up into 4 teams to try to win a challenge but ultimately, there can only be one winner so while they are a team, they are fighting individually within the team to have thier best dishes represented.  Like Chopped, they are given a set amount of time to complete a dish but unlike Chopped, the ingredients are hand picked by thier mentors and they don't have to use them all in each dish.  I love this idea because they can create something that would be truely used rather than weird stuff going together because they have too.

Gilette Venus Embrace

Thanks to Influenster's Cosmo Voxbox program, I was able to check out the Venus Embrace Razor and a Venus With Olay replacement cartridge.  I have been using Venus since I can remember and I have never been more satisfied with a razor than I am with Venus.  The best part is that you can put any Venus cartridge on any Venus razor handle.  I just put my Venus with Olay cartridge on my Embrace Razor...

 

The Olay cartridge is awesome.  It is so soft on your skin and you don't even need shave gel!!  The best part about Venus is that you can switch it up with different cartridges.  I have tried the Pro-Skin too and it was awesome.

Cosmo Vox Box from Influenster

Influenster has quickly become one of my most favorite companies.  They send out what they call Vox Boxes to qualified participants filled with products to try out.  Usually they are full sized.  I have been a member of Influenster for a long time and have been lucky enough to be able to try several Vox Boxes.  It's not just a handout though.  Once you are a member, you have to unlock badges to help Influenster figure out which programs best fit you.  They give the opportunity to do product reviews and challenges to increase your score to be qualified for future programs.  I love participating in the challenges that they provide.  I figure that if they pick me to receive the box, I should give my all and complete the challenges as best as I can.

The most recent Vox Box that I was lucky enough to be able to try is the Cosmo Vox Box.  It was full of a great variety of products...check it out....

Inside the Cosmo Vox Box was...

1.  Venus Embrace razor
2.  Venus & Olay replacement cartridge blade and a $2.00 off coupon!!
3.  Ghirardelli Sea Salt Escape full size bar.
4.  Two Pilot Frixion erasable pens (purple and black)
5  The box also had Bath and Body Works "Red" in it but mine didn't have it in there. 

When I opened the box I was so excited for everything that was in there and could not wait everything out!!
